No, Telenet was still in business when they made Valis X. Of course, they were too broke/lazy to make it themselves, so they hired a company called Eants to make it for them. A year later, they also had Eants whore out the Arcus series (Remember Arcus Odyssey on the Genesis?). A few months after that, Telenet was officially out of business.

In other words, Telenet Japan was like a failed actress--desperate for cash, so they turned to the one thing that ALWAYS sells--Porno. At least the Valis IV characters (including Lena) weren't in Valis X.

Oh god, Jo from Kendo Rage (or in Japan, Mai from the Makeruna Makendo series). Kendo Rage was a lot like Super Valis IV, except it SUCKED. It's retarded sense of humor was the least of its problems. At least Jo/Mai was cute.
