This isnt "How to be a streamer" advice. Having a twitch/youtube channel is a way to showcase that you actually play. Its a way i can look and see that you are legit and not just a typical non-player. I more interested in seeing that then a picture of your sweet new sickgrab that you will never even plst a picture of you playing.

I hate this shit. Its like a gold medal olympian shitting on the 99% who arent good enough for the olympics. Of course everyone cant score the highest and that doesnt mean anything less is shit. There is room for pointing out shit where applicable but i think some in the shmup community set the bar way too high. A DDP 1-ALL, no matter how much it is flailed, is still a decent achievement and gives you a pretty good reference point to judge the skill and dedication of a player.

Everyone has to start somewhere. Collect ing 1ccs is a good start. You have to accept a low/mid tier or you dont really have a community. Much like it is now. I believe this is partly what causes the non player issue in the genre
