Parasite Eve is unique for a horror game.

it is set in a mostly evacuated New York City during christmas time. its eerie roaming the streets of an empty NY with all the decorations up and snow falling and the only life encountered are weird abominations that were ripped from The Thing. combined with the somewhat cold yet sorta jazzy music, it creates a mood that just has not been replicated.
