I can't really articulate it, but for me it's basically THE Wario Land game, even despite it being the least similar to any of the others. It lacks Captain Syrup, WL1's powerups, the sheer zany-ness of 4, yet it is so perfect in its own way.

His games have been getting me through some hard times.
