Treasure, why must you continually disappoint your dad? You bring great shame to the family.

Admit it - the game is much more enjoyable when you patch it to restore the Japanese health bar and extra lives. To play without these features is a frustrating slog with barely sufficient opportunities to learn boss patterns.

best contra game in my opinion, also wanted to find that comic of the kid renting it and then going to school in the giant jeep and fighting the giant monster yelling FUCK YEAAAH

Contra Hard Corps. Great graphics and gameplay. Unfortunately, the levels are shorter than your dick and the bosses, due to their simplistic attack patterns, aren't much fun to fight. There's also many dialog sequences that interrupt the flow of play way too often.
