Honestly, I've bought about a dozen devices, but the only one I bought twice was the SF-2000. It's the single most comfortable horizontal handheld I have ever held in my life, and it has all the little details down perfect like having a power switch and volume wheel. Not the best at GBA and SNES emulation, but it's also the one everybody I've been talking and showing them to since I got into them back in March of this year with the RG35XX have all loved the SF-2000 for its simplicity. And it's fucking $15-20.
I mostly use my R36S though, not my favourite vertical handheld from even this year, but it plays the N64 and DreamCast titles I wanted in handheld form. Planning on the GDK Pixel and RP4 standard next.

It's okay but it's also only $20. I like it mostly because it's one really fucking comfortable horizontal handheld, though the shoulder buttons are a little stiff for my liking. Everything else is nice, even if the analog stick looks weird, it's placed comfortably if you want to use it for whatever reason.

Faggot who adores the SF2000 here, who recently got the R35S and is getting a $15 X7 on Monday.
My most expensive device atm is the RG35XX, which I adore but mostly only use for PSX titles. The Retroid Pocket 3+ is seemingly my ideal handheld for DreamCast, N64, and even a little GameCube. Mostly wanting to play shit like Sonic Adventure 2 and Phantasy Star Online on a handheld. I have just been so delayed on catching up on titles released this year like Tears of the Kingdom and Armored Cored VI that I haven't had the time or money to get the RP3+ just to replay the same games I've played hundreds of times already throughout the years.

Hey now, I only bought ONE additional SF2000 because of a new colour and I likely only would have bought the one if the turquoise didn't release a day before my lime green one arrived. Outside of that, I've never bought/received any electronic before just because it was a new colour except for the gold and silver GameBoy Color. Owning multiple units of the same handheld is hoarding, and the two SF2000s can be used together wirelessly anyway (player two gets no screen, their SF2000 just acts as a controller).
