What I don't get is how Banjo became so popular and regarded as a classic.
It sold over 3.5 million copies. Right, that's a real good number. Even better considering it was on N64, a console that managed to sell less than the Sega Saturn in Japan.
But Gex 3 sold around 6 million in different platforms yet no one was asking for Gex in Smash. Spyro sold better, yet no one asked for Spyro in Smash. Frogger sold over 3 million on Playstation yet people barely remember the game.

The why suddenly everyone loves Banjo? It seems that Microsoft created some artifical hype to promote some new game/collection.
