IMO BMF final V2 is the closest we'll ever get. It's what my calibrated monitors all look like, roughly.
Then he had to go ruin it with v3 because he didn't think the picture was "bright" enough.
And $100 is a lot when you're at a university in America.
Still, if you have the means to reprogram it and you can write your own palette, it might be cool.

PSX really was terrible. I like it, but it's terrible.
GBC Harry Potter was the best version because it was an RPG.
