Nintendo was more common in more rural areas, Sega was more common the closer you went to the cities. But it was also more likely you'd see more video games in rural areas oddly enough, people in the cities typically had a wider variety of hobbies or activities. My cousin had a Genesis, but he usually played on PC instead. There were a couple farmer families I knew who had Super Nintendo and practically worshipped Super Mario World and Link to the Past, some of their kids taught me how to draw by copying art from the manual. I had an N64, I remember the farmer kids babysitting for us and being amazed by Ocarina of Time. I didn't know what a PlayStation was until the PlayStation 2 was out because we didn't have internet or cable TV before then and lived in a relatively small town were no one else seemed to know what it was either. Console wars didn't really matter because it was just video games to us and we liked what we had and what we could play.

Now how would you guys create a Donkey Kong 64?
Not necessarily how to "fix" DK64, but how a N64 Donkey Kong game should be? Country 4? 2D gameplay but 3D graphics? A completely different 3D game?

What if DKC3 was on N64 instead?
