What the fuck do I even have to do in this game?

By sheer luck I somehow managed to get to the second floor but I swear this game expects me to magically know my objectives.

Good game, or best game?

Does anybody else here like the King's Field series? I just finished the (actual) first one while avoiding guides and save states, it took a long time but it really gave me that comfy old dungeon crawler feel. Sadly when I looked up discussion online all the normies were whining that it was low poly and slow paced, which is a shame. I honestly dig it a lot more than Souls.
