Dunno anon. I unfortunately currently handle stuff like chink handhelds, mobile devices and phones and the analogue as a job and it's pretty bad even compared to the ultra cheap devices like the $40 Powkiddy V90. For another $160 plus tax, shipping and handling it's not exactly what I would call an example of getting ones money worth. $200 is not a massive amount by modern standards, but it's far too much when you price the overall build quality and materials used. Hell, the units we received were truly rough around the edges with the casing looking like it was 3D printed and never sanded.

I'm not familiar with WolfenDooms, but Wolfenstein Machines of Death comes to mind.
Brutal Wolfenstein remixes the maps and adds scripted encounters but that might be too gaudy for you.
Other than that you can look into Wolf 3D mods like Castle Totenkopf SDL.
