To whom, exactly, would a remaster appeal? The thing that really dates fallout 1 & 2 aren't the graphics, it's the slow plodding turn based combat and unwieldy inventory system.

Don't get me wrong, I love Fallout 1 & 2, but for a new player, making it prettier won't do anything to make it more appealing.

Imagine a game that someone builds from the ground-up to run on DOSBOX. Are we allowed to discuss it? How is it different than Pier Solar? It would only be different if the decisive factor was that hardware of the genesis, compared to the hardware of a modern computer. But by that logic, I shouldn't be allowed to talk about retro games that I emulate, since they're not running on the hardware of an actual genesis.
