Because they have a videogame view of the world, where a thing only has value if it can be used in a quest of some kind and people are just NPCs with dialogue trees who sometimes give you quests and items.

The sleepers are Super Castlevania IV and Kirby's Dream Course.

People don't remember that when SCIV was released (three years before Super Metroid) it was considered a stone cold masterpiece. People were caling it one of the greatest platformers of all time. You can't really claim to be into Metroidvanias without playing SCIV. It is as important to the development of the genre as SotN.

Anyone coming down on KDC probably thinks Marble Madness was a sports game. KDC is a brilliant two-player puzzle game, something that is increasingly rare. I am very surprised they put it on this thing, but I couldn't be happier.

Well, I could be happier if they included Tetris Attack.
