Why does half life still get so much respect? It’s not that amazing
>linear as can be
>lots of parts where you have to wait for someone to open something
>setting isn’t that compelling
>story is pretty mediocre
>enemy variety isn’t anything impressive
The level design is pretty solid i’ll give it that but half life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be

Half Life honestly was never that great. It just feels so boring with some of the most boring enemies and environments imaginable along with a pretty generic ost.
