/vr/ - Retro Games

Does this get better? I'm pretty bored so far.

I like the level design of doom 64 and doom 2 the way ID did. So far this game has boring level design that amounts to go over there, get the key, now backtrack. Rinse repeat.

And id be ok with that if the combat was good. I've been enjoying playing wads like back to saturn with fun gun mods like treasure weapons, metadoom, Doom RL Arsenal, etc...

But also so far this game has extremely boring combat. Shoot basic bugs with basic weapons, plus the occasional dude who's just an imp.

Is this the whole game?
