Good fights all around in Tangents and it has a great atmosphere, but it's level design is less interesting and longer than the previous two so I'll agree there.
I didn't like the gugs when I first found that one in Violent Rumble. Now I've come around to loving these assholes, they're a lot more interesting to fight in this mod than outranging the shamblers with the penis pump. I first read about gugs in Dreamquest, it's so cool getting to tackle them in Quake.
