I'm happy with how doomguy turns out to be today, he really is on par with Build Engine trio now.
I hate modern BJ and it pleases me hearing his screams in QC.
Ranger got some personality in QC, but it doesn't matter much in MP-only game.
Lo Wang was nice in SW2013, he's an asshole at first but grows throughout the story. SW2 on the other hand ruined all of that.

Also damn I really want Shelly to be the next big oldschool FPS hero, but, as anon from previous threads said, her voice acting is somewhat meh :(
