Don't you think the 6th gen just sucks? Everything the 6th gen did, the 5th gen (RPGs/Platformers) and 7th gen (FPSes/Open World) did better?

If you just want to play games should you switch to emulation or is hardware still worth it? I have a pretty good PC and figure I can just emulate everything but I'm not sure if I'd missing playing on real hardware. It seems most of the games I want to play are greater than $100.

My grandparents just gave me my uncle's PS2, and the only game I have right now is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. What other games do you guys recommend?
