It was no shock that SNES MK2 was better than Genesis MK2. The shock was that MK1 SNES had sucked so much.

None of that matters now though because both are down ports. In 2017 there's no reason not to play an arcade version.

Thanks, it is what it is. As things go Crohn's is pretty shitty but at least manageable. It made for some rough years but I think getting through struggles is what life is about. Pain, especially chronic pain can seriously fuck with you and drive you literally mad. That's why I talk about the power of love, it can make dealing with life's inevitable suffering a little easier. That doesn't only mean romantic love though, all forms can help.

The other is meaning. Finding whatever it is in life you find truly meaningful and work towards that. When you're engaged in something you find truly meaningful the suffering of existence seems less important. What that is for you though is only something you can find.

As for Fodmaps, I think it's a case by case basis. If you were normally able to digest those foods and your condition is mild then it might be a case of staying off them until you recover and should be able to handle them again so you'd want to be careful to keep those bacteria around.

In my wife's case most of the trigger foods were things she never digested well and her mother is very similar so it could be she never had a good colony of the right kind of bacteria for them in the first place. So even if she does recover a lot more the things she can eat will still be limited.

I was a massive MK fan back in the day and the roster change wasn't a problem at all. I have never understood people who get upset about a new game not being a carbon copy of the last game.

My issue with it was that the dial-combo system never felt well implemented and it ended up just not being as fun as MK2 overall.

Ultimately though MK got overshadowed by other fighters once I started getting into the genre more. So even if MK3 stayed closer to it's roots the end result probably would have been the same.

Pro tip: no one anywhere really cares how you play your video games. In truth, no one anywhere really cares what you do at all. But if you announce that you're doing something odd, people are going to comment on it.
