have had mine since launch, I haven’t had any problems with them, I suspect people having trouble with them are people who have autistic rage fits and toss their controllers

Is this just a Saturn controller thing? Because my Genesis controllers I’ve had since launch are still perfectly fine. Granted I haven’t put that much time on them yet because my Switch has been keeping me pretty busy. But I have gotten quite some use from them though with no problems.

I like mine, better than my worn out ass old og pads that have mushy (some unresponsive) buttons. 30 years of use have made the originals just decoration at this point. These new pads are all I use now. Because they are new they feel better than the originals now. But compared the original pads when they were new? Can’t say 30 years is too long ago, I can’t recall something that specific from so long ago.

Both the hyperkin and retrobit pads are just as good as the originals.

the the buttons on the hyperkin are more clicky. Which I personally like better.

the d pad on the retrobit is more “notchy” kinda like when you are moving through gears in a manual transmission car. When you are making quarter circle and half circle movements on the d pad it has a more tactile feel. Which I personally like better.

So both have nice things about them.
