Subjective, you just don't switch OOT for MGS, or Sin and Punishment for Einhander. You're simply missing on games in favor of being loyal to a console, company or whatever. It is not normal adult behavior. It's understandable if that's how it was when you were a kid, being forced to only play with 1 console, but now you should be adult enough to recognize that, man, yeah, it'd be cool to be able to play all them good games each console have. As I said, even though I had access to a lot of PS1 games, thanks to piracy, I enjoyed Saturn and N64 games a lot more, PS1 had a lot of good games too, but it was harder to find the good ones, due to the amount of shovelware, while N64 and Saturn had good 1st party games, Treasure games, N64 had god-tier multiplayer and Saturn had god-tier arcade ports. PS1 was kind of meh to me for the most part, since I also had PC to play most western games.
Definitely PS1 picked up my interest through its later years, around 1998/1999, but from 1996 to 1998 I barely used it.
