My nan still uses a CRT as her only television.

I never thought much of it, but as I've gotten back into retro gaming and CRTs, I've remembered that the CRT she has is actually the original CRT I gamed on as a kid. My parents gave it to her a long time ago when we got our first flat screen tv.

Hardware-wise it's nothing special. It's a Matsui similar size and style to this pic (but the buttons are hidden behind a panel). I'm a Brit so it's SCART and possibly only capable of 50hz. Still though, I'd love to game on it again for it's sentimental/nostalgic value to me.

How do you guys recommend I get it back? I have a LCD flat screen I'd be happy to trade for it, but she's very resistant to change, probably won't want the hassle of getting a new one set up, and I don't know how I'd be able to explain to her why I want it. She probably thinks I shouldn't be playing videogames any more at my age.

>TL;DR - My nan has my original CRT from childhood - how do I convince her to trade it for my LCD?

Sorry I don't know the exact model number for those curious - I'll take a look next time I visit her.
