In Blood not only do enemies flinch when getting shot but their AI is programmed to take cover when you're shooting at them. The game actually rewards you for sending a barrage of bullets at the enemies and playing fast & loose.

>OP weapons like the TNT, Napalm Launcher, etc
>Shitload of ammo for most of them so you never really run out out aside from when you first find them
>Even the shitty pistol is good throughout all stages of the game
Yet the game is still challenging and none of the super powerful weapons are versatile enough to be used in all situations, except maybe the TNT but you can kill yourself with that real easy and they have a learning curve.
Why didn't other shooters get this? It seems like after a certain point a lot of shooters started making it so the unique powerful guns had no ammo in them at all. Even when you find grenades the most you can hold is like 5 if you're lucky, but in Blood you could have up to 50 or 100 sticks of TNT.
