Is accuracy something noticeable to casual retro gamers? Like, aside from a few glaring effects ZSNES can't handle that you'll notice once in a blue moon if you play it regularly, what am I supposed to be looking for? Is it like Yify 1080p rips where serious cinemaphiles notice the poor sound quality and artifacts of over-compression, whereas the vast majority of people just wanting to watch Battle of the Five Armies can't tell the difference?

I think when this level of realism was first incorporated into vidya, then RPGs began a decline.
>doors to virtually all the houses in the Imperial City are locked at night-time or in day-time when the inhabitants are out
>inhabitants get pissed when you go inside to explore
>even moreso if you steal their shit while they're watching
>don't feel like restarting the game & redoing the tutorial dungeon just to develop a thief class character, solely to explore people's homes
>implying this concession to realism isn't a loss of one of the more fun & immersive parts of old-school RPG town & village exploration
