The battery is fine, got around 5h30 out of Gran Turismo 2 once on JELOS before fully discharging, PCSX ReArmed stock settings, brightness 5/10, volume 5/10, wifi off. The problem is RK3566 chinkhelds just have several issues from poor drivers, the battery metrics being marginally off and going nuts if completely discharged, very poor idle power management and no sleep being some of them. If you want something a little more reliable, albeit standard bog 3.5" 4:3 and Android, pony up for the RP2S.

Tried to match your settings, increased contrast, 50% brightness, mGBA, OpenGL and dot.glslp. Image looks about the same, fairly certain you got color correction going on.

I prefer automatic and cold temperature for this screen, personally.

Oh no, it was actually a fire hazard tier problem, as in battery metrics went completely off the rails as opposed to the usual guesswork, like a charged device reporting 0%. It's supposed to be fixed now, but fuck if I'm touching JELOS updates until I'm 100% sure they're leaving the battery part alone.

Should add in case you're not familiar with RK3566 based chinkhelds, Android has much better power management and can actually idle and sleep as opposed to Linux. Still not worth the $20+ tax though.
