Apart from needing to open up the device and physically cut the buttons to make them tolerable, only to end up with buttons that are still worse than the other 3 models', and needing to replace the d-pad silicone with one from a game boy color which most non-autists would have to source individually, only to end up with a dpad that is still worse than the other 3 models'

I love the size/ergonomics of the R36S vs the other, smaller models but I don't know how people look past completely unpleasant controls. I would pay more for a device with A+ buttons than one with D- buttons even if that second handheld could emulate an entire extra generation of devices over the first.
