I used an N30 Pro clipped to my phone but the setup was too top-heavy and strained my wrists. Then I used an Xbox One controller with a clip that had a kickstand and that was a bit better, but I found it too bulky. Now I use pic related, which I bought for like 30 bucks last year. Works ok, but the buttons feel cheap. It's serviceable for what it is.

I use my Galaxy S9 with pic related. Emulation handhelds are a mixed bag, and there's going to be concessions you have to make each time. I want a handheld that has two analog sticks with L1, 2, 3 and R1, 2, 3 buttons a good wifi chip for netplay and moonlight game streaming, has expandable storage, and can play up to PS2 well. And ideally under $150. It'll probably still take a few years until those companies actually do it right.

I just use my phone with pic related using retroarch. I personally don't think those handhelds are worth it, but whatever it's your money.

I just ordered one of these a few days ago, that type of design seems more manageable. It'd be cool to just have one of these instead of lugging around a separate Xbone controller and clip.
