i was playing the game and decided to watch the walk through skip to silent assassin.

so i was playing the jungle god and i shoot the jaguar and then the Indians started shooting me, probably because it was there god or something. i tried killing them but i couldn't for some reason. I remember running away to the other side of the map and apparently the Indians on the other side of the map who i had helped in the previous mission turned hostile and killed me. How did they know i killed there god, did they communicate in smoke signals ?
I Looked it up apparently you got to kill some pig and give it to the jaguar. how the fuck was i supposed to figure that out. I thought maybe there was supposed to be some sort hint of the mission briefing screen i missed but no there was no fucking hints. i dropped it on the next mission.
