I miss when maps came with the game. It implied the devs put some sort of effort into the world they were building.

Maps were so fucking cool when they came with the game. Especially if the game had a level editor. That shit made me go full turbo autist and draw the map for the world then try to recreate it as a mod. Too bad all those old levels I made are lost to time. Still probably have the maps though. I remember putting a bunch of brown markers in water then putting the paper in to dye it and having it dry in a way that gave it that weathered look. Good lord if I was even half as autistic today as I was back then I'd be unstoppable.
