Why are GameCube discs always cracking and peeling? Just chunks flaking off, they're the only ones I've seen do this.

What will be the first system to die out completely? With Cart and Disc Rot crawling closer to the complete death of a console who will be the first to cross the finish line into oblivion?

Did you know Gamecube games used faulty manufacturing due to a premature disc pressing process causing early failure of the layers of the media?

This is happening across a large number of gamecube games from generic sports games to major nintendo titles like smash and metroid prime. In the past it was just a problem for certain notable games like twin snakes but has since spread to discs from a variety of developers such as skies of arcadia.

It looks like gamecube games may not have much of a future going up.
