Are these controllers worth it? £20 each on Amazon which seems pretty steep for a basic d-pad and buttons setup.

What does /vr/ recommend for some good controllers ideal for controlling old games via emulation?

Pic is of one that should be fairly obvious to anyone on /vr/

Any opinions on this controller? The cord to my old Dualshock 2 I've been using for 8/16-bit emulation got torn and I'm in the market for a new controller. I like the aesthetics and lack of analog sticks on this one, but is it any good? It's only eleven dollars so I'll probably buy it anyway but I was wondering if anyone else here has one.

honestly dawg, if you want to learn speedrunning you need to do it on an OG snes. but if you cant afford it/ dont want to move over to the real deal (https://www.amazon.com/Buffalo-Classic-USB-Gamepad-PC/dp/B002B9XB0E)) this an alright choice

QUESTION
Is pic related the best device? What's your opinion?

ISSUES
1) I assume that the original SNES controller is better, but is it worth its price, considering that a an additional USB converter must be bought?
2) how badly can the old age of an original controller influence the quality of gameplay?
3) do all original SNES controllers work well with USB adapters? Some people say that some models (the SNS-005 I think) is a hit and miss, while the SNS-002 model works well.
4) iBuffalo = Buffalo?
