Huh, I guess the VxD drivers it comes with must be Windows XP VxD drivers. Anon on the internet said so, it must be true.

SB16 emulation doesn't mean what you think it means, btw. It's literally just a thin translation layer in the driver because different cards have different interfaces, all the work is still being done on hardware. It's not using software to generate the sound like some kind of virtual device.

I went looking online, and saw a Toshiba CX32G60 for $80, and a Sony KV 27FS13 for $300. Are either of these any good? They were the largest TVs I could find near me.

How the HECK do I emulate Virtual On? Every other Dreamcast game I like works fine, but that one game just crashes on boot

Why do people bother with scan lines?
Movie fans don't downgrade their tvs to watch old films and people don't overlay vinyl hiss to listen to mp3s of old songs

It's a serious question, I'd like to know why you guys bother. Is it to feel included in the past, proof it existed? A way of emulating not just the games, but emulating your experience playing them? An interesting thought - emulation of youth - I want to know why you bother. I grew up with CRTs, in fact I have about 5 in my attic but never once have I been playing an emulator and thought 'yeah I want this, but worse'
