It really sucks how much the Viper Manor gang's subplot was this self-contained, inconsequential story that got thrown completely to the wayside in favor of Cross' multi-dimensional cosmic apocalypse bullshit and its myriad of Trigger retcons. This cast deserved to be in a story where their personalities, goals, and backstories actually mattered beyond window dressing meant solely to settle the player into El Nido as a setting.
