I always dreamed of porting the beam/nova skeleton from Castlevania into a revenant variant: one way would be a very long winded single railgun/archvile blast(railgun only in zdoom I guess) - what would set him apart from archie is lack of ressurection, revenant movespeed, lower health, shorter windup than archie and less dmg probably.
The other way would be to give him a very low painchance slow windup into a heretic dragon claw tome of power attack barrage that would last for a couple of seconds
