Ok this is definitely bate but I'll bite.
I don't have kids of my own nor do I want them.
I do have a nephew who is 10 and looks up to me a lot, I never tried to force anything on him when it came to the games that I grew up with.
He took a interest in my collection of older games on his own, every time he would come over
he wanted to play Super Nintendo, Genesis or NES
we would stay up all night playing games like
Mortal Kombat II, Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros 3 and 2 as well as getting him into
his first time playing an RPG which was Secret of Mana, I always let him play the main character while I played as the Sprite.
He had a blast playing those games and by the time he was 9 we were playing CvS2, Samurai Shodown, Neo Geo Battle Colosseum the Street Fighter Alpha series MvC2 and KoF98.
He fell in love with fighting games after that and was a pretty fast learner at fighting games for his age.
We also played a lot of Resident Evil One and
Resident Evil 4
>I know not /vr/
For his birthday he wanted me to buy him
a Gameboy micro and some games which I did
he absolutely loves that thing and would bring it with him every where.
I think if kids like something enough they will get into it on their own I never tried to force anything on to him.
It was the same with music and anime or any form of entertainment for that matter and if he didn't like something he would tell me.

Shame the MSX translation for this will never be completed. It's like Shin Megami Tensei crossed with Snatcher.

Not getting games like this and Cyber Doll bugs the shit out of me. We really got lucky with Snatcher ending up localized.

My god, the Pioneer Laseractive is the pinnacle of late 80's-early 90's anime lovin' laserdisc buying weeaboo faggotry in the best possible sense. Like I wanna watch my Bubblegum Crisis episode five laserdisc, play some Snatcher on my Mega CD, then get my Mega Drive fix with either E-Swat or Strider, motherfucker.
