I was blown away by how good the SNES version is. Only complaints I have about the game are the lack of weapon options even in the late game. The difficulty of the last dungeon's cryptic puzzle. The uselessness of the arrow dude. The fact that the game gets a little bit laggy in late game because of all the spells that your NPCs keep casting.

Most fun I had in the game was finding the treasure and exploring in the Elf village and the snowy area.

Using teddy bears just sounds like a fun strat to use. I have beaten the game 4 times and on my recent playthrough I tried abusing items and tricks to make the game interesting. I didn't think of using Teddy Bears though. When the gay friend (scientist) gets the rocket launcher is when all hell breaks loose and you start one shotting enemies.
