The Street Fighter 15th Anniversary Arcade Stick has plugs for both PS2 and Xbox. It even has a slot on the front for the Xbox memory card. It was decently close to the feel of arcade, but I think the buttons are a bit higher and convex instead of concave. Since they were being liquidated at EB, a friend an I bought one but it was found to be of slightly lower quality than Happ since his stick got wore down to no longer register a direction. That may just be to his maining grapplers and I rarely used mine since I am more of a pad player.

I heard Retro Fighters is making a controller for the original Xbox. I have not tried those controllers, but it may be a good alternative if you are looking for an original Xbox controller. I did rely more on adapters for PS2->Xbox for controllers to play on D-pad, but I think I do feel a hint of lag in it.

That would work great for me. I can maintain my execution with the d-pad and have access to all 6 buttons with my right hand with the added ability to piano with sensitive buttons.

This one works with both the original Xbox and PS2. It is not genuine Happ and not my favored control method, but my friend likes using it probably because he was employed by arcades and prefer to use grapple characters in fighting games. I would rather adapt other controllers to the Xbox. Hori was an okay alternative, but they got better as time went on, at the point when they made that stick, you would be best to install genuine Sanwa/Seimitus parts to improve that stick.

I just realized I missed Evo this year. Went out to meet friends and had no idea when it was this year. Even had off days from work too.

Visited /v/ the other day, missed the opportunity to use a new pic so I'll just not waste it ... for my fans here that followed on a rare exploratory visit there.

That's pretty much the order for me. The Saturn pad is best for me, Hori makes great controllers, and then there's the one you have pictured. Do note that there were two sizes of pads Madcatz created, a larger SF4 one and a smaller SFxT one. While in theory the Madcatz one should be great with its oversized soft D-pad, it didn't feel right to me, as I use charge characters. It is one of the worst for my hands, but a Zangief player named Snake Eyes uses it and has a lot of success with the Madcatz controller. Just find what suits you best.
