1/3/X are the best of that, but that is my opinion. You are correct also that there is quite a few excellent fighting games. I don't get into fighting games, but I do appreciate the quality that they have on the Neo Geo.

All corals can become a problem, some faster than others. I have already had to throw out handfuls of poccilipora because of how fast it grows.

Yes I did. They are oak clad pine boxes using Happ competition buttons. I like the Happs, and for what I paid for everything, I couldn't have purchased a single MVS stick. Eventually I am going to build an arcade standup, and am looking at making a "Goldie mvs" style machine. I have a 20" crt ready for this. Pic related
