I actually did it, I managed to get my hands on the LX5500 and I spent the day cleaning and polishing it and even vaxing both sides of the glass screen infront of the tube, took my time cleaning the old remote too, that fucker is heavy as a cast-iron pan.

After a ton of googling I finally figured out the strange ways of B&O and how to setup the inputs. SCART RGB was easy but S-Video for the N64 was a proper bitch. How about this: Press Menu, Select Ext.1 and link that to V.Tape1, press Play to save the settings. Press V.Tape on the remote and then Press and Hold Shift + 9 to for the TV to search for an S-Video signal instead of composite and voila. S-Video quality is stunning but there's not much helping the N64, the only system I have on S-Video.

The RGB image is a amazing. Though a bit on the dark side (anything I can get to boost the image strength externally?) The picture is extremely stable and has none of the intense flickering or even that high pitched sound many CRT:s have and to top it off the speakers are equally as good as the image quality, if not better. All in all, super happy with my free 26 year old TV.
