If you're expecting an epic masterpiece on the level of the Final Fantasy games then yes you will be disappointed. It's a decently fun if a little generic JRPG, like Wild Arms or Legend of Legaia.

It's hardly anything outstanding but I really don't understand this board's seething hateboner for this game. Same goes for Legend of Legaia and Alundra 2.
