Don't listen to *any* of the retards saying not to use Retroarch. Being able to universally apply CRT filters, or if you're not into that, a 'light' bilinear filter to make the pixels seem integer
when scaled, along with all the latency mitigating features, is a no brainer. Frame pacing/sync not being a juttery mess across all cores is also nice. Standalones have some of these perks, but usually not all of them.

Post latency with your emulation setups, faggots, if you can be trusted to be honest about it. Pic related is an average for me. No other setup will get this responsive, even on a low latency monitor (which I also use)

Retroarch is objectively the best way to emulate, but not necessarily because of the shaders. It's by far the most responsive when tuned.
