Honestly I think pretty much all of the VB library is decent, the only game I'd avoid would be Waterworld.
Investing on a flash cart would also be a good idea since there's homebrew games, and dumps of unreleased games like Bound High.

Innsmouth no yakata for Virtual Boy, as you can guess it's actually based on The Shadowover Innsmouth

On the subject of Virtual Boy, Insmouse no yakata, a weird adaptation of a japanese movie based on "The Shadow that fell over Innsmouth" from Lovecraft.
It's the only first-person game on the VB, other than Teleroboxer.

I've read it's actually based on a movie, and that the VB game was licensed for promotion.
Whatever it was based on, the game ended up being more popular to whatever it was based on, I couldn't find any インスマウスの館 in japanese websites other than the VB games, and the only book I found with that title was released in 2010, so I dunno. At any rate, it is a mysterious game. I'MAX was also such an unusual developer.
