Does this really piss people off more than CV introducing Matrix Wesker?

You can mount the .vhd on Windows and put stuff on it as if it was any drive/folder on your host PC. I think on Win11 you can just click the .vhd but on Win 10 you have to open diskmgmt then click Action>Attach VHD

You should link directly to the archive for the Ad Mortem post since Anons who don't use 4chan X or anything like it don't automatically get a link and just get a dead post instead:

This is how literally every console ever works. Only 2% of any library is good. The reason why the PS2 has more good games is that 2% of 4376 is 88 games. Meanwhile 2% of the Gamecube's library of 651 games is only 13 good games

>Contra and Castlevania fans have been among the most insufferable people on the internet for at least 15 years now
I dunno, I've been on 4chan for 15 years and I don't remember them being insufferable a decade ago. Honestly to me it feels like it happened at the same time people started saying REmake, MGS3, and other games that were universally praised on 4chan back then are bad games

I mean RE2 has a total of 4 scenarios plus 4th Survivor, Tofu and Extreme Battle. But if you're talking about just one of RE2's main scenarios, they're not that long. I'm not a pro speedrunner and I finished the game in 1h30m. I don't think RE3 is much shorter

This, that's all there is to it. Everyone knows Kojima doesn't actually like making video games. He's just a westaboo who wishes he was making Hollywood movies and will always lick the ass of anyone who's remotely popular around the western film industry.

the game isn't uninspired. it's pretty fun and quirky. it's definitely not a system seller or mario killer, but it's a pretty solid platformer. i'm not trying to say it's an amazing game everyone should play, but i do believe the game is pretty fun if you do approach it with the right expectations. the game has a lot of old school game design chinese trickery where you sort of have to put yourself in the mind of the developer and try to figure out what traps and pitfalls is set out for you, instead of rushing forward guns blazing. it is that sort of game that dangles an item box down a corridor in a suspicious maner, and you just know some trap is gonna befal you if you go there. i do like that sort of game, provided it isn't too cryptic to figure out or unfair, it's pretty balanced in its approach, you just need to pay attention and just keep in your mind a chinese man programming the game with an evil grim trying to figure out ways to trick you. eventually you figure out the game is all about buying the right items and use them at the right time, instead of trying to do everything with your vanilla moveset, that way you will burn out all your lives unless you're the gamemaster. janken is just a weird quirk of the game, they were experimenting with something goofy, turns out it's not a good idea. either way it's not a big deal, the janken isn't actually random, they do all the same moves provided you don't die, so just take a note of what the right moves are in order and do them next time you play. even though is obviously an RNG dumb mechanic it still plays well with the childish demeaner of the game. in 3 or 4 playthroughs you can beat the game, it isn't hard.
