Sierra games were an evolutionary step from text adventures while LA were full on designed for point and click from the ground up so it was easier to get into, also PC's were more popular at home during their zenith were children and normies had an easier time enjoying their games compared to Sierra games designed for 80's interative fiction computer nerds

I had a friend circa 2004 that had his old nintendo 64 in a box and he told me that he never managed to get all 120 stars, he had 119 and could never find out what he was missing before he stored the console in a box to dedicate himself to newer PC games. So when I was in his house we decided to open the box and look for the missing star.
It was the second peach slide star that you need to go faster to grab.
