/vr/ - Retro Games

I played the game in 2012 or so and I thought it looked beautiful. The scenarios are really good, the battle characters models are great and you can see not too common details like hands modeled with all fingers and stuff like that. Overall is visually pleasant, cohesive and with good art, while not technically impressive. Games that look awful in the system are stuff like the first Tekken, were even the menus are crappy.
Sometimes I wonder if people can really distinguish between good and bad graphics.

I'm not even a fan but FFVII is max comfy.
I don't know why isn't appreciated aesthetically but I blame Advent Children and the atrocious modern ports, it is weird being one of the most famous games in existence. I played it for the first time in 2013 or so and it surprised me how nice it looked.

In the other hand FFIV-V are really plain looking games in the whole SFC catalogue.
