You know, I liked to tell myself that I come to /vr/ because there's less shitposting, and many of the anons here seem to have their shit together, and are older and more mature than /v/.

Then threads like this come about and I realize that I was wrong. Grown adults on this board are having a collective sustained mental breakdown over the artistic liberties a studio has taken for a remake of their game. They're drawing angry memes like it was 2012, and that this is the worst thing to happen to their favorite game ever. They're going to have their two minutes hate on the game whenever threads like this pop up from now until release. Then, when the game drops, these same manchildren will crawl out of their caves and give Nintendo their money because after all that, maybe they're rationalized it so that they wanted to see how bad it really was.

But then they realize it wasn't that bad after all. It just wasn't as good as the original. But they knew that all along.
