its good but really really really easy. even as X its a cakewalk. not that a game has to be challenging to be good but its kinda lacking in that department. also its music is inferior to the later game's in the series music. x5 and x6 outclass it in the music / difficulty department respectively. though the best megaman x game is 2.

not shit taste as much as i like playing it because its fun. i have this feeling that most people that hate it saw some e-celeb talk about it negatively because everybody always brings up alia. i remember an avgn video where he bitched about the dialogue and didn't say anything about the core game. if thats the only reason people don't like it then its certainly some e-celeb echoing.
