Girlfriend of Steel for visual novels.
Pic related for actual video game adaptation of the series. In fact this is still the best Evangelion game to this day.

And I fucking love Panzer Dragoon series, the art direction is amazing, but you guys are making PD fans look like delusional fanboys.

Anyway, pic related is my pick for N64 game with best graphics. The polycount and use of textures in this thing is incredible, and without any extra RAM.

Sega was a sponsor to Evangelion back in the day, but that was 20 years ago.

Ban Dai has been doing Evangelion games since the N64 one.

Let's talk about the very last era of gaming /vr/ covers. Talk about games released in 1999 or after (if they're released on /vr/ hardware, i.e Majora's Mask on N64 or Castlevania Chronicles on PS1).

Whenever I think about 1999, I remember seeing Evangelion on the N64 at a local store who had imports (owner was japanese). The graphics and overall presentation of the game shocked me. I never bought it because it was insanely expensive for me though.

Exact same thing happens with this game, which is actually pretty similar to the Ultraman game during the battle missions.

Although at least Evangelion 64 has some cult following because at the time it released it boasted impressive graphics, and it still looks pretty cool. But still a lot of people hate it.

What game are you playing this new year, /vr/?

Kinda want to get into N64 collecting just because of how pretty the boxes are.

technically impressive, and they actually tried to make it interesting by adding variated gameplay for different missions, etc... but as a game, it's not that good. Probably no point in playing it if you don't like Evangelion.

I still love this game for being the best Evangelion videogame (that isn't a VN), the graphics, the presentation, etc is all top-notch.

This one is pretty neat if you're a fan of the series. If not, you probably won't get as much enjoyment out of it.
