Oh I love Duke 3D too, but I'm talking about the original two games. The platformers. I fucking love the gameplay of the first game, and the sheer bombastic spectacle of Duke 2 is a sight to behold. Great soundtrack too.

I think I prefer the snarky Coca Cola drinking, laser gun shooting, and explosive molar having classic Duke over the super ego driven Duke we got in 3D and onwards. Though they definitely perfected his design in 3D with the shades.
I plan on making a weapon heavily inspired by Duke Nukem 1's nuclear "pistol" in the future, that thing looks cool.
