Magic Knight Rayearth for the Sega Saturn.

God damn this series was a shoujo, isekai, magical girl, AND a mecha series all in one. They don't make 'em like they used to!

I'm trying to figure this out /vr/.
So there's the Magic Knight Rayearth unworked patch which reverts the working design changes back to the original Japanese, making the game much more playable. There's also an undub patch which replaces the voice acting with the Japanese original. The two appear to be incompatible with each other.

Do you think they can be made to work together? The Undub simply replaces the FMV and voice files.

Picked this up because I found it for relatively cheap compared to eBay prices & people seem to love it. I figured I could cover its price tag anyhow by selling my copy of Shining Wisdom which I never particularly cared for ..except once I started playing, I didn't really like this all that much either.

It's visually appealing enough I suppose but the music is bland, the story is completely linear, gameplay is basic & it has zero replay value. Is there something I'm missing or should I just sell it off as soon as I can?
